The first four pictures are me at the elephant conservation camp. I trained my own elephant- her name is Poon Yang with the help of her main mahout- Jam Ras. He didn't speak much English but that was okay. The last picture is with one of my friends- Poytin. I met him on a trek we went on for two nights and three days in northern Thailand. We hiked and got to stay at a hilltribe village.

10 hours vancouver to beijing? i don't suggest it!

well I boarded the plane and it was packed and by packed i mean packed! i didn't have any room and it was one of the biggest planes you'll ever see like come on! couldn't a guy get a little personal space? and the woman sitting next to me put her elbow on my armrest and leaned over to the point where I couldn't sit strait. it also had the worst movie system I've ever seen and it was soooooo complicated that the controller thing didn't even work! but i figured it out and watched like 10 movies. but I'd watched all the good ones by the 7th hour so i was bored most of the other three hours even my Gameboy got boring! but once in Beijing it was more fun i'm in the business center of the air china lounge (i can't see 20 feet out the window because of the smog) the airport is awesome! you can sees yourself in the floors! I would suggest, however, flying through Beijing as long as your flying first class!
